i have married the blue sky
and i have married the ocean
at the same time
and i did not realize
at the start they were one.
now i am caught
in a permanent swing
between the depths and the highs
the serene and the dark
my name is the moon
and i am ready to sing
for all bathed
in doubts and in light

his optimism would lead 
the way his life went by
shaping the future
from the beauty in his eye

Florence - the storm

while life flows down the river path
from dawn to dusk
poetry is going to hit you with a wave
as strong as the storm
you harbor in your soul

She is going to stir the clouds
and spin the possibilities
like a hurricane blows
the winds of change
she wants to make

and through the whirlwind
that you must withstand
you will learn to see through
its very eye  into the future
And find the peace that it can bring

she is seldom heard
and she thinks this is all well deserved
she's seldom seen
and she never thought this as mean
she may never be grand
but the one things she has
going for her and keeping her going
is the fact that she cares
and she knows she can get
problems solved
when others cannot
if only she'll rid
herself of doubts
and have faith
