new star, new stories

my child you have grown now so big
the bed time stories I used to tell you
you can retell now;
in fact some of the early ones
must have reached the ladybugs
who live among the stars ;
and from their laughter a new star
was born with a desire of sending its light
into the upper left corner of your window;
from now on you should never be lonely
scared and afraid of the dark;
your star will bath you
with sparks of bright light;
your childhood stories should lull you
to warm sleep under your blanket;
while your dreams navigate
learning to know that
it is almost time to make your own
so much and so big you have grown.
