sat still today
the light to let
outshine
and flow onto
thin branches
fragile bushes
frozen by the night.
they sheltered
hidden birds
or rodent of the hills.
the road still rolled
downhill, uphill
just like the story goes
with love, unwinding
while the bird start singing
for the sunrise
