rainbow colored thoughts

i see them on the street sometimes
the perfect men, with matching faces
and perfect names; their muscles neat
the body mass at the right level,
the cholesterol in control, and sometimes shiny braces.

but what amazes me is the way
they are plugged in to their devices
ipod on hand, cell phone at belt
I would almost think there is a pair
of bionical wings squarely folded on their shoulders.

the other day I met one jogging
in the park, the place where kids go feed the ducks
he almost smiled in friendliness (like yesterday's)
fully aware that he was born right for today
then disapered in the harmonic loneliness of an iTune
