rain

it is spring time and rain
does not fall here in vain
my garden is growing
(I tried to keep the rabbits from knowing);
the playground's been washed
by the dust and the time will be best
to swing high, and slide low
tommorow. Meanwhile the lake waters grow
so we can go boating, fishing
and swimming, but when can we go?
